I am impressed by the power of the ConnectShare experience. During my first meeting I was provided with multiple actionable solutions by my teammates. I had the opportunity to share solutions with them, too. But it didn't end there. We met and talked regularly throughout the month, really coming together as a team. It's a great feeling to be able to give back, knowing that when you do, everyone benefits.

I am grateful for the opportunity always to connect with others, no matter how it looks and what the opportunity was to create the possibility.
This last month was my first month at ConnectShare. I was put at a table with 4 other people that I knew nothing about. I must add that our whole group was an amazing experience. I believe we all were able to serve each other in great ways and that we... MORE

FAQs
Q: What exactly is a connection?
A: “A true connection combines a contact, business, website, or “in” you have with a value proposition
to do business with them.”
Q: What types of businesses make the best members and “Business Ambassadors” for sharing and receiving connections?
A: It is not the business, it is the business leader. The business can be anything. To be a Business Ambassador you must be willing to share some of the quality connections you have developed over the years with other members. You must also be willing to sincerely help other members find high
quality connections they are looking for.
Q: How do you make sure new members will be reputable “Business Ambassadors”?
A: Our membership committee reviews each membership application. Before interested business leaders can join ConnectShare™ they must be approved by the committee and the Executive Director. They must also have been invited by a current ConnectShare™ member or Membership
Director.
Q: Can anyone join ConnectShare?
A: In order to prevent over saturation of any business specialty/industry we limit membership in each category to 5% of the current member base. This helps to keep the membership diverse. So, once an industry is full and occupying 5% of our membership, we would not bring on another member in that particular industry until the membership grows large enough to maintain the integrity of the 5% limit. This also helps in preventing overlapping of industries and competing companies within the monthly ConnectTeams™. We go to great lengths to ensure competing businesses are not seated with one another at the ConnectShare™ Events.
Q: As a member, can I bring a visitor to a ConnectShare Event?
A: Of course you’re encouraged to bring visitors whose businesses are within available specialties/industries. You will need to notify the Executive Administrator, as we do pre-screen all visitors to make sure they are a viable candidate for membership. Visitors are welcome to join us for breakfast at the start of the event and stay to observe the connecting process with you and your ConnectTeam™; however, if they wish to participate as a trial member there is a single event fee that will be charged. Indicate to the Executive Administrator whether your visitor would like to participate in the process or observe.
Q: What if a member receives a connection and that connection performs poorly?
A: The Executive Administrator will act as an ethics overseer. It is imperative that anyone who gives or receives a connection and later discovers that it doesn’t fit ConnectShare™ standards, must report it to the Executive Administrator. The Executive Administrator will then investigate and take appropriate actions, which may include removing them from the ConnectShare™ bank of Connections Offering.
